Oxford Maps

Oxford isn’t quite a Transport Paradise yet: buses still get held up in traffic on some corridors, some roads suffer from speeding traffic, there are gaps in the cycle lanes, and some of the quiet routes aren’t quiet enough yet. But it mostly seems to be a question of completing what has been started; about filling in the gaps.

To illustrate the current situation, we’ve developed a bus map and cycle map, which have been published back-to-back. They have been distributed quite widely, for instance to students at both Universities and to every house in West Oxford. Copies are available at the Visitor Information Centre on Broad Street; for more please email.

The bus map shows all the high-frequency services, and where they stop. The cycle map shows the routes that are currently available, and how good they are.
